Ingredients
1 ½ lbs. lean ground beef
½ c chopped onion
½ c chopped celery
2 Tbsp flour
2 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 tsp salt
¼ tsp oregano
1/8 tsp pepper
1 (10 oz.) package frozen peas
1 package refrigerated biscuits
1 c shredded cheddar cheese
Brown beef, onion and celery in skillet; drain fat, stir in flour, sauce, seasonings, peas and then simmer for 5 min.
Pour into shallow baking dish. Top with biscuits and cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 min.
Makes six servings.
